About Organisation

Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan is a non- profit & non – political voluntary organization. Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan is registered in 1992 under the society registration Act. Organization does believe that people’s active participation at the lowest level is the most important pre-requisite for development & social change.

We are working on grass-root & directly involved with the people of their communities. We have the intimate detail of the community that is necessary for the effective program planning. Our programs often spring directly from the needs of the community & may involve members of the community in planning and implementation. Such involvement results in community support for the initiatives and greater effectiveness of the programs.

Close involvement with the community and attention to their needs means Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan is giving voice to the people’s priorities. In this way Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan is a bridge between national policies and local action. We promote people-oriented policies by raising concerns which may otherwise never be heard and provide a platform for citizen participation. Likewise we can present Government policies to the people in a way they can understand and better accept.

Our organization is working with the community over last 11 years. Through the development of trusting relationship we gain access to marginalized, illiterate and rural populations that may be missed by Government programs. We have very good team of workers & volunteers in Santkabir Nagar district. They have greater credibility and personal knowledge of intimate behavior. This intimate knowledge of the community can be used to develop vocational training programs which can be integrated into on-going, well accepted, existing programs.

Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan is sought to concentrate on the empowerment of rural masses specially the Women of the rural areas.

Sarvodaya Gramodyog Vikas Sansthan believes that the women are the strongest agent of social change and through them all the deprived section can be reached..
